Jules Budinetz, 93, of Treichlers, died Jan. 27, 2015, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Anna (Boshko) Budinetz.
Born in Molenec, Czechoslovakia, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Yunhak) Budinetz.
He was a PFC in the U.S Army.
He was a kitchen supervisor for eight years at Allentown State Hospital until he retired in 1985. Before that, he was a meat cutter for the former Pantry Pride, Lehigh Valley, for 22 years until the store's closing. He was a part-time school bus driver for the Northampton Area School District before relocating to Florida.
He was a former 20-year member and a past president of Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church, Northampton.
He was a member and a past president of the Democratic Club, Northampton; member and a past financial secretary of the Lehigh Township Lions Club; and was a past member of the American Legion Post 353, Northampton.
He is survived by a son, Michael and his wife Debra of Treichlers; a daughter, Barbara of Smith River, Calif.; a brother, Stephen Budinetz of Allentown; a sister, Lillian Cramsey of Sinking Springs; two grandchildren, Dr. Tara and her husband Terrence Field, and Wade Budinetz; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Field.
He was predeceased by a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Ethel and Yolanda.
