Robert C. Dickert, 87, of Emmaus, died Jan. 31, 2015, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Hess) Dickert for almost 28 years and the late Lois (Baus) Dickert. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frederick E. and Catherine E. (Walter) Dickert.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a retired furniture refinisher.

He was a member of Christ E.C. Church, Allentown.

He is survived by his wife; son, Keith; stepson, Scott Laudenslager; grandson, Jason; step-grandson, James Laudenslager; a great-granddaughter.

Services will be held noon Feb. 5 at Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, 2135 W. Tilghman St., Allentown. A calling hour will take place 11 a.m. to noon in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
