Lewis R. Berkenstock, 96, of Emmaus, died Jan. 27, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Hilda A. (Toth) Berkenstock. Born in Summit Lawn, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ellen (Kramer) Berkenstock.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a bricklayer for 42 years until retiring.

He is survived by a daughter, Carolann, and her husband Robert Rhoads, Jr.; sons, Robert and Kenneth; sister, Eleanor Lesh; brother, Marvin; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; favorite furry friend, Collin.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
