Thomas D. Broad, 71, of Whitehall and formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan. 15, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Snyder) Broad for 46 years.
Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Frank W. and Katherine (Schugar) Broad.
He was a 1961 graduate of Liberty High School.
He was a union electrician for more than 50 years with IBEW Local 367/102 and was on the executive board. Most recently, he was foreman at the Northampton County Courthouse.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Fullerton, and was known as the "Fry Guy" at many fundraising events there.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Stacy and her husband Thomas Craig and Kimberly and her husband Bobby Saeger; four grandchildren, Audrey, Margot, Tommy and Zane; a sister, Judith and her husband Richard Frantz, a brother-in-law, Roy G. and his wife Mary Jane Snyder; a sister-in-law, Barbara and her husband Lowell Albright; and nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by a sister, Susan Edwards.
