Helen D. Deifer, 78, of died Jan. 15, 2015. She was born as Yang, Bok Duk, near Pusan, Korea, and lived in Seoul, Korea, before emigrating and becoming a U.S citizen in 1967. She was the wife of Paul Deifer.

She worked on the U.S. Army base in Seoul. She was the owner of The Panda's Pantry, Allentown, since 1975.

She was a member of the Korean Church of the Lehigh Valley.

She had a community garden plot at Jordan Creek Parkway for more than 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Min Ja Kim; three children, Richard, David and Lee Anne; and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Marylee, Lauren, Olivia, Calvin, Ethan and Devon.
