Nancy L. Polash, 76, of Macungie, died Jan. 21, 2015, at her home. She was the wife of Fred M. Polash. They were married 56 years in September.

She was employed at Lehigh Cultured Marble, Macungie, for 20 years before retiring. Previously she was the co-owner of the Fireline Hotel in Bowmanstown. Born in Queens, N. Y., she was the daughter of the late Patrick C. and Myrtle M. (Handel) Patterson.

She was a devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Michael J. and his wife Joann, of Stewartstown, Patrick S. and his wife Sheleen, of Schnecksville; daughter, Deborah A. Carl, of Wescosville; grandchildren, JimBob, Brandon, Nicole, Adam, Bethany, Christopher, Kylee and Isabella; great-grandchildren, Mason, Amber, Peyton, Shea, Connelly, Addyson, Everett, and baby Polash. She was predeceased by a brother Patrick J. and grandson, Ryan.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to offset medical expenses for her great-grandson, Peyton. Checks may be made payable to the Trexler Funeral Home, Inc., 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown, 18102 and the donations will be sent to the family.
