Doris J. Greenawalt, 81, formerly of Allentown, died Jan. 21, 2015, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. Born in Macungie, she was a daughter of the late Marguerite (Geiger) and George Schmeltzle, Sr., and stepdaughter of the late Pearl Schmeltzle.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by daughters, Debra Yoder, Donna and her husband Brian Stufflet, Diane and her husband Joseph Fleisher, Denise Bednarczyk; brother, William Schmeltzle; stepbrother, Gerald Althouse; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers, Richard and George Schmeltzle, Jr.; sister, Lorraine Gehman; stepbrother James Althouse; granddaughter, Tonia Swavely; grandson, Richard Yoder; great-grandson, Tyler Grim.
