William J. Schueck, 83, of Alburtis, died Jan. 14, 2015, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit. He was the husband of Helen F. (Wertman) Schueck. They were married for 55 years. Born in Alburtis, he was the son of the late Howard and Helen Schueck.
He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Alburtis.
He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
He was a carpenter his entire life.
He was a member of the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and the Topton American Legion Post 217. He was active in the Alburtis community and helped build the Camp Fire Girls cabin and the Alburtis swimming pool.
He is survived by daughters, Lorrie J. Butz and companion Bruce Sellers, of West Lawn, Leslie A. Dech and companion Michael Acker, of Macungie; sister, Dorothy Landis, of Macungie; grandchildren, Troy, Jonathan, Christina and Chelsie; great-grandson, Landon. He was predeceased by sisters Ruth Reichard and Caroline Heim.
