Charlotte R. Schisler, 89, of Northampton, died Jan. 1, 2015, in her sleep. She was the wife of Albert G. Schisler for 65 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Ethel F. (Edelman) Unangst.

She was a Northampton High School graduate. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Moravian College.

She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northampton, where she was a 25-year Girl Scout leader, a former council member and a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA) group.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carol J. Reed of Greensboro, N.C., and Gail S. of Oak Creek, Colo.; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia J. Felcin; and a brother, Owen Unangst.
