The 4-H Knitting and Crocheting Club is looking for new members.
Youth ages 8-18 are invited to join with a sponsoring adult.
Each youth is asked to have a parent, adult family member or adult friend join them for this opportunity. Both the youth and adult member will learn the art of knitting or crocheting.
The club will meet from 7-9 p.m. on the third Monday of each month starting Jan. 19 in the Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall.
This is a great activity for mothers and daughters, grandparent and grandchild, or aunts and nieces.
This club is geared for beginning knitters and crocheters.
If you don't know the first thing about knitting or crocheting or have briefly dabbled in it, you are welcome to join.
Experienced knitters and crocheters will be leading the classes.
Many educational and fun activities are offered by 4-H in Lehigh County.
In Pennsylvania, 4-H is coordinated by Penn State Cooperative Extension through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
4-H programs are open to all youths regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or disability.
