Lorraine M. Gehman, 87, of Emmaus, died Dec. 29, 2014, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of Homer D. Gehman. They were happily married the past 68 years. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Marguerite L. (Geiger) Schmeltzle.

She was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband; sons, David and his wife Beverly, Randy and his wife Judy; daughters, Karen and her husband Richard Rushatz, Sharon and her husband Gary Fritch and Kathy and her husband Stephen Sabo; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, William Schmeltzle; sister, Doris Greenawalt; stepbrother, Gerald Althouse. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Pearl Schmeltzle; brothers, Richard and George Schmeltzle and stepbrother James Althouse.
