Dr. Patricia S. Murray, 84, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 2, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Alexander B. and Sophia (Cameron) Murray.

She was the director of special services with the board of education at Kinnelon School District for many years until retiring.

She obtained her bachelor's degree from Montclair State, Montclair, N.J., and her master's and doctorate degrees from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.

She was the past president of the Lehigh County Council of Churches, active with the American Psychological Association and Educational Association in New Jersey.

She was an avid golfer with a four hole-in-one record.

She is survived by lifelong friends, Angela B. Tortorello and Alice M. McKenna and faithful companion, Angus II.
