Donald D. Wilson, 95, of Emmaus, died in his home Jan. 8, 2015. He was the son of the late John Raymond and Violet (Dennis) Wilson.
He was a teacher of art at Bay Ridge High School, New York City, for 29 years. He previously taught art at Liberty High School, Bethlehem, for four years. Earlier in his career, he was employed in the advertising department of the former Hess' Department Store as a fashion artist and newspaper illustrator for 11 years.
He was a graduate of Kutztown University and recipient of the art award at graduation. He also attended New York University for advanced studies.
He traveled worldwide.
He is survived by nieces, Rebecca Short, Audrey Erb, Jennifer Lalik and Jane Shingler; sister-in-law, Jean H. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold L.
