Theresa E. Benko, 86, of Coplay, died Dec. 30, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the Joseph G. Benko for 65 years.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Johanna (Stipkovits) Kropf.

She was a sewing machine operator for many years.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Young At Heart senior group, the Hungarian Hall and the Coplay Saengerbund.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Joanne and her husband Michael Sodl of New Ringgold; two sons, Joseph C. and his wife Linda of Catasauqua and Robert of Jessup; six grandchildren, Michelle, Janice, Michael, Emily, Alyssa and Steven; five great-grandchildren, Cale, Kendra, Andrew, Cora and JD; and a sister, Anna Delabar of Spring Hill, Fla.

She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Leopold; and four brothers, Charles, Anthony, John and Alois.

Contributions may be given to the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
