John "Jack" R. Kropf, 68, of Whitehall, died Dec. 31, 2014, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Judith A. (Shoemaker) Kropf for 50 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Louise E. (Trankley) Kropf of Coplay and the late Charles R. Kropf.
He was a Moravian College graduate.
He was employed at the former Exide Battery Company, Allentown, and later at Essroc Cement Company, Nazareth.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jocelyn and her husband Jerrold Hontz of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; Derek, Allison, Gabriel and Emily; a brother, Richard and his wife Kathleen Kropf of Northampton; and two sisters-in-law, Janet and her husband Bernard Edelman and Jennifer and her husband Marvin Granada.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Kropf; and a brother, Robert Kropf.
