Helen Theresa (Dorner) Farkas, 84, of Northampton, died Dec. 29, 2014, at the Inpatient Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Stephen D. Farkas.
Born in Stockertown, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Paukovits) Dorner.
She was a seamstress for several factories that included Clyde at 21st Street and DD Shirt.
She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
She is survived by a son, Stephen and his wife Teri; a daughter, Maryellen and her husband John Yost; six grandchildren, Nicholas and Daniel Farks, and Carissa, Kyle, Cassandra and Kira Yost; three sisters, Hermina Dorner, Anna Fabian and Elizabeth Soltis; three brothers, Julius and his wife Joan, William and his wife Brenda and Edward and his wife Margaret; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary, Theresa and Rose; and five brothers, Michael, Stephen, Joseph, Frank and John.
