Frieda T. Volpone, 70, of Macungie, died Dec. 27, 2014, in her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Theresa Simitiz. She was the wife of Ronald T. Volpone, Sr. They were married for over 51 years. She retired in 2008 and moved to Macungie after residing in Orangeburg, N.Y. for 35 years.

She enjoyed reading, watching television, eating Mallomar cookies, shopping and being with people, dear friends and family.

She is survived by her husband; children, Ronald Jr. and Theresa; brother, Fritz Simitz; sister-in-law, Mildred Simitz; daughter-in-law, Mary Kay; son-in-law, John Scott Gregory and three grandchildren, John, Jason and Casey Gregory.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Jan. 17, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
