Miriam "Mim" A. Zimmerman, 87, formerly of Whitehall, died Dec. 10, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Ida V. (Merkel) Adams.
She was a 1945 graduate of Whitehall High School, and was treasurer of the National Honor Society.
She was a computer operator at the former Roller Smith Corporation, Bethlehem. She then worked for Mack Trucks Inc. for 32 years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cementon, where she was a secretary, volunteer and a lay reader since 1974. She was a Sunday school teacher for 20 years.
She was a member of the United Auto Workers, Local 677; Mack retirees; and was a former secretary of the Whitehall AARP.
She is survived by a son, William Paul of Whitehall; twin sister, Mildred Frantz of Oklahoma; three grandsons, Ehren, Bradley and Todd; nieces; and nephews.
