George L. Morrow, 90, of Macungie, died Dec. 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of June P. (Follweiler) Morrow, whom he married Dec. 29, 1945. Born in New York, N.Y., he was a son of the late Harry and Jean (Krause) Morrow.
He was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown.
He was a 1941 graduate of DeWitt-Clinton High School, Bronx, N.Y., and a 1943 graduate of The Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y., receiving a degree in electrical engineering. He worked as an electrical engineer at several major electronic companies throughout his career.
He was a Freemason. After his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. He also was a hobbyist who had the love for electric trains, coins, stamps and painting.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jan and her husband Edward Jackson, of Salisbury, Mass.; granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband David DeSisto, of Barrington, R.I.; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Ariana DeSisto; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jeanette Follweiler; sister-in-law, Nancy, widow of Bruce Follweiler, of Bethlehem; two nieces and nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by a brother, Vic.
