Richard P. Saylor Jr., 68, Coplay, died Dec. 14, 2014, at his home. He was the husband of the late Sandra (Matucinszinski) Saylor.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Richard Sr. and Georgene (Barry) Saylor of Schnecksville.

He was a private in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a tire service technician for Joe's Tire & Battery, Allentown, until he retired this year. He was previously a mechanic at Pollard Tire, Allentown.

He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay.

He was a member of Tri-Boro Sportsmen Association, Northampton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Erica L. and Tara M., both of Coplay; a son, Bret of Dublin; a sister, Sharon and her husband Ernest Kline of Coplay; and three grandchildren, Christine, James and Leland.
