Edward M. Podorsky, 85, of Coplay, died Dec. 3, 2104, at home. He was the husband of Immaculate (Shambo) Podorsky for 61 years.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Martin and Anna (Zgebura) Podorsky.

He was in the U.S Army during the Korean conflict.

He worked for General Electric, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Paula A. and her fiance Scott Balze of Coplay; three sons, Thomas E. and his wife Marion of Glassboro, N.J., Edward M. and his wife Monique of Sugarland, Texas, and Daniel M. of Palmerton; two brothers, Eugene and his wife Nancy Podorsky of Coopersburg and Marty and his wife Irene of New Tripoli; three sisters, Joanne and her husband Michael Sziy of Newside, Rose Marie Fritchman of Walnutport, and Bernadette and her husband Bruce Wall of Mount Pocono; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
