Charles D. Lamm, 75, of North Whitehall Township, died Dec. 15, 2014. He was the husband of RoseMarie (Schwartz) Lamm for 49 years.
Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Fixl) Lamm.
He was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and of the U.S. Naval School of Music.
He was a bandsman in Berlin with the U.S. Army during the Cold War.
He worked at Phoenix Forge, Catasauqua, for many years. He retired after working as a truck driver for Lehigh County. He was the leader of The Tyroleans band and played for other area polka bands.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay, where he was a lector.
He was a lifetime member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David and his wife Cheryl of Schnecksville and Christopher and his wife Christine of North Whitehall Township; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephen and Kenzie; a brother, Frank and his wife Frances of Emmaus; two brothers-in-law, Joseph and his wife Barbara Schwartz of North Whitehall Township and Thomas and his wife Donna of Mt. Lookout, W.V.; a sister-in-law, Stella Daddio of North Whitehall Township; nieces; and nephews.
