Minerva M. Long, 88, of Macungie, died Dec. 18, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of the late Sherwood W. Long, who died in 1991. Born in Hereford Township, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose W. and Maria R. (Gehman) Wetzel.

She was a member of St. Peter's Church, Macungie and Seisholtzville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Ronald A., of Allentown; daughters, Karen L. Strohl and Roberta J. and her husband Mark Henninger, both of Allentown, and Faye M. and her husband Richard Keim, of Macungie; brother, Wilson D. Wetzel, of Macungie; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Albert and Earl Wetzel.
