There will be noon dismissal Dec. 23 for the elementary schools.

There will be no morning kindergarten. Afternoon kindergarten students will attend the morning session.

Winter break begins Dec. 24 through Jan. 2, 2015. School will resume Jan. 5, 2015.

Northwestern Elementary

Partners In Education will be hosting a Holiday Shoppe and Movie Night 5-9 p.m. Dec. 19.

PIE will set up the holiday shoppe in the cafeteria so children can shop with or without their parents for gifts for their family (pets included).

Following the shoppe, the movie "Jingle All the Way" will be shown at 7:15 p.m. in the gym.

The movie is free. Snacks and hot dogs will be sold.

Everyone is invited wear PJ's for the movie.

First-grade students will present "Singing in the Snow," 1:45 p.m. Dec. 19. Snow date is Dec. 22.
