Local students make dean's list

Lehigh University has announced the names of students who earned dean's list status for the spring 2014 semester.

They are Katherine Kline of Bath, Maureen Weaver of Northampton and Reem Azar, Lukasz Gjondla, Vyolet Haik, Royce Kok and Chad Wagner, all of Whitehall.

In order to qualify, a student must earn a GPA of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Proctor

graduates

Erika Proctor of Catasauqua recently graduated from Misericordia University.

A dean's list student, she received her bachelor's degree in science for sports management. She will continue her studies at Misericordia to receie her master's.

Proctor went to Misericordia to play softball but switched to lacrosse her sophomore year and tied an MU record for wins in a single season in her first year playing this sport.

Over the summer, Proctor worked at Camp Towanda where she headed up the softball part of the camps activities..

Proctor is the daughter of Christopher and Nancy Proctor of Catasauqua.
