Donald G. Nixon, 77, of Zions-ville, died Dec. 13, 2014, in his residence. He was the husband of Faye Ann (Reimert) Nixon. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in September 2014. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard W. and Viola A. (Lester) Nixon.

He was a graduate of Allentown High School and a veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a plumber and was the owner of Valley Mechanical (1981-1995) and Abbey Plumbing (1995-2013).

He was a member of St. Matthew's E.C. Church, Emmaus.

He was a former coach with the Emmaus Youth Baseball and was instrumental in the L.V. Soapbox Derby.

He is survived by his wife; son, Steven A., of Emmaus; daughter, Holly F. and her husband Christopher Mack, of Kutztown; grandson, Michael A., of Los Angeles, Calif. He was predeceased by a sister, Janet Campbell.

Services will be 11 a.m. Dec. 20 at St. Matthew's E.C. Church, 35 N. 5th St., Emmaus, 18049. Call 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home Inc., Allentown.
