Carol A. Dorney, 67, of Wescos-ville, died Dec. 12, 2014, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Dennis W. Dorney, with whom she celebrated 36 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary Alice (Kuntz) Ferrara.
She worked as a customer service representative for Day-Timers and later as a server for the Anchorage and The Masters at Shepherd Hills.
She was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Trexlertown, Emmaus Lioness Lions Club, golfed in the Woman's Golf League at Shepherd Hills, enjoyed bowling and volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital in the gift shop.
She is survived by her husband; children, Daria A. Hoffman, of Macungie, Deidre L. wife of Steve Schrader, of Chantilly, Va., Dennis W., II, of Wilkes-Barre and Jennifer D. wife of John Creager, of Hagerstown, Md.; brother-in-law, Bruce Kline, of Roswell, Ga.; seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Francyn Kline.

A memorial and Lions Club service will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 17 in St. Paul's UCC, 1249 Trexlertown Rd., Trexlertown. Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
