Carol A. Barczy, 65, of North-ampton, died Dec. 4, 2014, at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Barczy Jr.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Weber) Wagner.

She was a graduate of Northampton High School.

She earned an associate degree from Northampton Community College.

She was a social worker with the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare and Public Assistance, Allentown, for 36 years until retiring in 2003. She then worked part time as a clerk for the Northampton Recreation Center.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She helped to create and oversaw many events at the Northampton Recreation Center since 2003.

She is survived by a daughter, Samantha J.; a brother; John N. Wag-ner; and a stepbrother; Edward and his wife Maryann Weber, all of Northampton.

There will be a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., all Dec.11 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
