Alfred R. Lane, 76, of Orefield, died Nov. 30, 2104, at home. He was the husband of Bernadette L. (Bevich) Lane for 46 years.

He was the son of the late Alfred and Mary E. (Slonaker) Lane.

He was a 1956 Parkland High School graduate.

He was in the U.S Army.

He worked for PPL in administration for more than 40 years.

He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin and his wife Ruth of Arlington, Va., and Jason, at home; and a sister, Dolores and her husband Bryan Buffham.

He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Ann Milam.
