John S. Mall Jr., 85, of Northampton, died Nov. 29, 2014, at Hospice House of the V.N.A. of St. Luke's, Bethlehem.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Anna (Leskowitz) Mall.

He was a Palmerton High School graduate and attended technical trade school in Williamsport.

He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He was a mechanic in the MERF garage at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 41 years until he retired in 1990. He was a former Allen Township road supervisor.

He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Computer Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Denise and her husband John "Jack" Sickonic of Northampton and Carol and her husband Jeffrey Jarrell of Hendersonville, Nev.; two sisters, Anna Yenser of Walnutport and Dorothy and her husband Nick Yarosevich of Northampton; two grandchildren, Jennell Schlener and her husband David Bowser of Northampton and Brian J. Schlener Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Alexis; nieces; and nephews.
