David J. Heil, 47, of Northampton, died Nov. 25, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Morell E. and Leona R. (Hoffman) Heil.

He was a packer at Rodale Press, Emmaus, for 14 years until 2002.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

He is survived a sister, Donna J. Heil, with whom he resided.
