Ronald A. Marx, 58, of Northampton, died Nov. 7, 2014, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Rudolph F. and Mary (Falman) Marx of Northampton.

He was a Northampton High School graduate.

He was a welder for Allen Tech Inc., Allentown.

He attended Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Northampton V.F.W. Post 4714; and American Legion Post 353, Alliance Fire Company and Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, all of Northampton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Ronald A. Jr. and his wife Tammy of Bath; a daughter, Carissa Ann of Allentown; a brother, Rudolph Marx Jr. of Northampton; two sisters, Linda K. Dinbokowitz of Whitehall and Sallyann L. Snyder of Coplay; and three grandsons.
