Richard D. Gross, 85, of Whitehall, died Nov. 10, 2014, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the companion of the late Elizabeth A. Groller.

Born in North Coplay, he was a son of the late Andrew Gross and Anna (Moats) Gross.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was employed by Reichard & Coulstan, Bethlehem, for 36 years before retiring in 1985.

He was a member of Grouse Hall, Ironton.

He is survived by nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews. He was the last of 13 children.
