Lamar E. Serfass, 82, of Northampon, died Nov. 10, 2014, in Emeritus Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Audrey M. (Rehrig) Serfass.
Born in Bowmanstown, he was a son of the late Claude and Alverta Serfass.
He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
He was a crane operator at Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg, N.J., until retiring in 1994. He was a school bus driver from 1970 to 1980.
He was a member of Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Northampton.
He is survived by a son, Gregory R. and his wife Winifred of West Pittston; a daughter, Debra A. and her husband Larry Hunter of Wescosville; two grandchildren, Tamarya and her husband James Heminitz, and Micaela; and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Kaitlyn.
