Northampton Borough and Lehigh County have entered into an agreement that provides land for the demolition of the Coplay-Northampton Bridge.

Council at its Nov. 6 meeting approved conveying approximately 0.133 acres for a drainage easement, 0.134 acres for an aerial easement and 0.270 acres for a temporary construction easement.

"The county is going to pay the borough $6,400 for these easements and also all legal fees," Zarayko informed council.

"Are you satisfied?" Councilman Ed Pany asked Zarayko, regarding the real estate transfers.

"Yes," Zarayko replied.
