In last week's article on the Nov. 3 Bath Borough Council meeting, information regarding 224 W. Main St. was incorrect. The Bath Borough Council currently owns 224 W. Main St. "The property is deed-restricted by the provisions set forth by the Department of Conservation of Natural Resources (DCNR) at the time of the acquisition in 2004," borough Manager Tom Petrucci told The Press. Borough Council plans to offer $10,000 on a parcel within the Borough of Bath to serve as a recreational substitute to 224 W. Main St. If the owner accepts this offer, borough council will seek to fulfill the requirements of the DCNR conversion development and complete the original terms of its acquisition grant. The Press regrets the error.
