Edward C. Sandt, Jr., 87, of Wescos- ville, died Nov. 5, 2014, in Pottstown Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dorothy D. (Beil) Sandt. Born in Stockertown, he was a son of the late Edward C. and Florence (Meyers) Sandt, Sr.

Prior to retiring in 1985, he was an assembler for General Electric.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandra A. and her husband William D. Owens, of Douglasville; grandsons, Christopher and Scott Nealon; great-grandson, Nicholas. He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane and sister, Betty Hummel.
