Naomi R. Cyphers, First Church of the Nazarene member

Naomi R. Cyphers, 76, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 26, 2014, while in the at ManorCare of Bethlehem. Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Harriet (Dettmer) Butz. She was the wife of C. Edward Cyphers for 56 years.

She was a 1956 graduate of Northampton HS.

She worked for Jackie and Richard Herzon at home and at Herzon & Son.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Bethlehem, where she was a nursery supervisor for 17 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Karen and her husband Nelson Long of Bethlehem and Donna and her husband Charles Wilson of Prickerington, Ohio; a son, Dean E. and his wife Natalie of Bath; two sisters, Harriet and her husband Donald Wehr of Northampton and Viola Wesner of Bath; two brothers, Daniel and his wife Mary Butz of Madison, Wisc. and Earl and his wife Linda Butz of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
