Francisco Rivas, truck loader

Francisco Rivas, 80, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 29, 2014, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Francisco and Mercedes (Pino) Rivas. He was the husband of Theresa (Andino) Rivas for 57 years.

He worked for more than 20 years as a truck loader in the garment district, New York City, N.Y., before retiring.

He attended Third Day Wrship Center, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Francisco of Bethlehem; three daughters, Evelyn and her husband Louis Rosado and Janet and her husband Dennis Soto, all of Bethlehem; and Abigailand her husband Mario Hernandez of Staten Island, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother; and two sisters.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
