There will be no school Nov. 7 for a teacher in-service day.

Report cards will be distributed Nov. 10.

Northwestern Elementary

Veterans Day will be celebrated Nov. 11. Students are asked to wear red, white or blue.

There is a Partner In Education meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 13 in the cafeteria.

The first marking period awards assembly will take place Nov. 14.

Morning kindergarten, first- and second grades assembly will be 9:30 a.m. that day. Afternoon kindergarten, third-, fourth- and fifth grade assembly will be 2 p.m.

The fall book fair will be open during school hours and during parent/teacher conferences Nov. 19-25.

Children may shop on their own during school when their class has library or during conferences, with a parent, noon-3:30 p.m. Parents are invited to shop until 8 p.m. Nov. 24.

Books will ship for free to the school when the online fair closes Dec. 2.

Weisenberg Elementary

There will be a PTO meeting 9:15 a.m. Nov. 14. Check with the office for the location.

Sir Readalot's Castle at Weisenberg's Library's book fair will be open Nov. 19-25 and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 24.
