LaRue S. (George) Geiger, 86, of Danielsville, died Oct. 22, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Herbert P. Geiger.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late J. Ralph and Elsie I. (Snyder) George.

She assisted her late husband in the operation of the family farm. She was a waitress at the former Wotring's Banquet Hall, Schnecksville, for several years.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, where she was an usher and a member of the quilting group.

She is survived by three children, Carol R. and her husband Phillip Fink of Hamburg, Ruthann I. and her husband Glenn Mann of Bath, and Sherwood P. and his wife Kathleen of Danieslville; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
