Kurt W. Gerhard, 62, of North Catasauqua, died Oct. 19, 2014, at home. He was the husband of the late Theresa A. (Gillespie) Gerhard.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of Richard E. Gerhard and the late Ethel (Gogel) Gerhard.

He owned and operated Gerhard Construction and Gerhard Siding for more than 19 years; and Gerhard Home Improvements. He worked previously for Bracy Contracting.

He was a member of St. John Fisher church, North Catasauqua.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa and her husband Will Brown of North Catasauqua and Nicole and her husband Joe Gomes of Catasauqua; a grandson, Cole Brown; twin granddaughters, Eva and Mia Gomes; his father's companion, Julie Guldner; a brother, Richard Gerhard Jr..; a sister, Janice Jones; a brother-in-law, Jerry Gillespie; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Gillespie.
