Gary S. Deily, 74, of Catasauqua, died Oct. 22, 2014, at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton. He was the husband of Kathleen (Drosselmeyer) Deily for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Phillip C. and Claire A. Deily.

He was a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He was a truck driver for Mail-Weil Envelopes, formerly Boise Cascade, until retiring. Prior to that, he was a diesel mechanic for Modern Transfer.

Her was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

He was a life member of the East End Fire Company, Catasauqua; a member of the Sportsman Golf League, Willowbrook; and of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 715.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gary J. of Wilmington, N.C; a brother, Jerry and his wife Donna Deily of Northampton; and three granddaughters, Christine, Meredith and Stephanie.

He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Barbara.
