Betty Mae Snyder, 87, of Emmaus, died Oct. 22, 2014, in St. Catherine's Medical Center, Pleasant Prairie, Wis. She was the wife of the late Russell R. Snyder who died Feb. 3, 2014. They were married for 61 years. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Bessie M. (Hartman) Schaffer.
She was a member of St. Paul's Blue Church, Coopersburg.
She was an office clerk at Mack Trucks for 30 years until her retirement and was a member of the Local 677, United Auto Workers Union.
She devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Susan M. and her husband Millard Arnold, of Macungie and Connie J. Kramer, of Bristol, Wis.; grandchildren, Kevin Smith, Tanya Ondrovic and Amanda Kramer; great-granddaughter, Kayla Wood. She was predeceased by a grandson, Russell Smith.
