Phyllis L. Haines, 78, of Walnutport, died Oct. 15, 2014, at Hazelton General Hospital, Hazelton. She was the wife of Richard T. Haines for 61 years.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Stanton Sr. and Ruth (McNeil) Butz.

She was a member of Bethany Weslyan Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Judith A. Leh of Neffs and Donna M. and her husband James Nagy of Walhalla, S.C.; two brothers; a sister; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
