Pauline H. Fretz, 96, of Emmaus, died Oct. 7, 2014, in Lehigh Center. She was the wife of the late Abraham E. Fretz. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Doney) Wieder.
She was employed by Sanson Hosiery Mill, East Penn Food Service for 17 years and Rodale Press.
She was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus, where she taught Sunday school, Bible School, was a member of the 10-2 Club, helped in the soup kitchen and sang for more than 50 years in the church choir.
She was a member of the Golden Rodalians, Emmaus Senior Citizens, AARP and the Emmaus Lioness Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Kay F. and her husband Roger P. Davenport, of Bethlehem; grandson, Kyle; step-grandchildren, Jason Davenport and Robyn Matthews; nieces and nephews.
