Mary Ann (Strauss) Smith, 74, of Nebo, N.C., formerly of Emmaus, died Sept. 12, 2014, in Autumn Care, Marion, N.C. Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Ralph C. and Emily C. (Smith) Strauss.

She is survived by sons, Jeffrey A. and his wife Barbara, of Allentown, Michael A. and his wife Ivy, of Emmaus and a daughter, Susan A. C. and her husband Michael Cinquanto, of Nebo, N.C.; sister, Ruth Geist, of Kutztown; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
