Jack D. Baum, 86, of Lower Mac-ungie Township, died Oct. 20, 2014, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of Sylvia M. (Lefever) Baum. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Louis and Fannie (Vogel) Baum.

He was the vice president of sales at Penn Treaty Insurance Co. until retiring. In retirement, he was an employee at Wegmans.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War.

He was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel, Allentown.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Alan (Robert), and Chris; grandson, Todd.
