Rudolph F. Marx, 82, of Northampton, died Oct. 4, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Mary (Falman) Marx for 59 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Carl and Anna (Ertl) Marx.
He was a powerhouse control operator for Keystone Portland Cement Company, Bath, for 38 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.
He was a member of the Bath American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald A. Sr. and Rudoplh Jr., both of Northampton; two daughters, Linda K. Dinbokowitz of Whitehall and Sallyann L. Snyder of Coplay; a brother, Charles and his wife Louise Marx of Wheaton, Md.; a sister, Anna Miklos of Northampton; three stepsisters, Cynthia and her husband Donald Dougherty of Bath and Rosalie Christopher of Whitehall; Patricia Gartner of Northampton; a stepbrother, Rudoplh Gartner of Alexandria, Va.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
He was predeceased by a twin brother, Edward Marx; and a sister, Mary Dreisbach.
