Paul F. Balliet, 74, of Upper Milford Township, died Oct. 11, 2014, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Francis and Kathryn (Gensemer) Balliet. He was the husband of Judith H. (Stauffer) Balliet with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage in August.
He was the owner and operator of Paul's Garage in Fountain Hill for over 45 years.
He was a member of Grace U.C.C., Allentown.
He belonged to the Traveler's Protection Agency Post L for many years, and was a former member of the Elk's Club. He was a member and past president of the Otter Springs Association at Lake Wallenpaupack for 20 years. He was also a member of the Rajah Shriners, Blandon.
He is survived by his wife; son, Kevin and his wife Robin, of Emmaus; daughters, Kimberly and her husband Todd Cochrane, of Hagerstown, Md., Kerri, of Milwaukee, Wis.; sister, Barbara Spohn, of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Thomas, Amy, Kyle, Kody, Nick, Megan; great-granddaughter, Bayla.
Contributions may be made in his name to the general fund at the church, 623 Cleveland St., Allentown, 18103.
A funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Oct. 16 at the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Family and friends are invited to a viewing 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
